thats right folks, it is that time of year. i wanted to dress up as an accident waiting to happen, but ended up overwhelmed with the possibilites and found myself arriving at my cousin heidi's house dressed as a civilian. my wife rebekah went as a citizen and our little simon was yoda on his very first halloween. and what a night it was! i have placed a photo of yoda here for your pleasure, but a few thing should be mentioned. first, that is me holding simon's cloak on the right. he cannot stand on his own yet, so this is basically an action shot. also the scene in the back is fake but effective. rebekah is holding him on the left (his right) and the pumpkins, leaves and corn stalks are as real as they can be. no trick photography here, i am laying everything out on the table.

Dude... that was the best picture of the night. Thank you for coming to the party. We had a great time and it was so cool to see all the little ones in their outfits!
